Although Apple's products already include some machine learning features, they are yet to produce an AI product to rival ChatGPT. But now the Apple boss has revealed that Apple will be sharing details of their'ongoing work' in AI'later this year'. Cook would not reveal exact details of what AI features could be coming but said: 'We have got some things that we're incredibly excited about.' Speaking on Apple's quarterly earnings report on Thursday, Tim Cook said: 'As we look ahead, we will continue to invest in these and other technologies that will shape the future.

It would have been a big bet from one of the biggest games in the world, and reporters probably would have talked about it in such terms. Spotify rolls out an updated site to select free users

Spotify is beginning to roll out a re-design of its mobile app to select users of its free-tier service. The changes, which include more control over playlists, will allow Spotify to make its free version behave more like a Premium account in a bid to boost user numbers. The update is currently in testing and has only been rolled out to a small amount of users. The search page has had a slight overhaul, with colourful tabs indicating different genres and a glimpse at what artists are contained in each playlist. The revamped bottom bar is a new'Premium' button to allow users to easily upgrade to the premium version of the app Rumours of the mobile update were unveiled last week by Bloomberg.

There may be no need to tip your Lyft driver in Boston later this year -- because there may not be a driver. The ride-hailing company said Friday it will introduce driverless cars to its Beantown fleet later this year -- before expanding the program to other cities. Lyft had announced in June that it was partnering with nuTonomy, the technology company behind the autonomous cars. Driverless cars will be chosen for particular customers by Lyft depending on traffic, weather, route and time of day, the company said. "You're going to see it. You're going to see these vehicles on the street," Taggart Matthiesen, Lyft's senior director of product, told the Washington Post.
