#artificialintelligence

In this ever-advancing world of technology, humans have crafted marvelous things for their personal entertainment. Sex robots are one of them and in the previous years, they've got a major update with Artificial Intelligence (AI). Today, we have robots that are as good as any average human; they represent the intricacies of the human skeletal and muscular system and sport bones and joints. Take for example, the Eccerobot, that can pretty much live and breathe! Along the same lines, we now have an AI sexbot that can not only move its limbs like a person, but also, breathe air in and out!

Here comes Harmony: AI sex robots with new 'X-Mode' ship in September

Last year, CNET traveled to San Marcos, California, for an early, behind-the-scenes look at a new generation of artificially intelligent sex robots from Abyss Creations, maker of the popular "RealDolls" line of customizable sex dolls. Now, customers can expect to start receiving those same sexbots within the next month. So says Abyss Creations founder and chief designer Matthew McMullen in a recent video interview with a RealDoll enthusiast and Harmony beta tester who goes by "Brick Dollbanger." In the interview, McMullen says fully equipped AI sex robots should start shipping in September, which matches what a spokesperson for Abyss Creations subsidiary Realbotix told me earlier this week. McMullen also said putting the final touches on his company's new creations has proven to be "a little more difficult than we anticipated."

China's disturbing sex robot factory with dolls the size of children

Daily Mail - Science & tech

Disturbing images have emerged from inside a Chinese sex robot factory where people can order custom-made AI dolls, some of which are the size of children. The AI dolls, which cost on average $3,100 (£2,300), have soft and elastic skin made from rubbery plastic that contain less oil content than normal plastics and reportedly do not smell. The plastic is heated to 37 C to reflect a human's body temperature and developers say these perverse dolls have body sensors that also make them feel human-like. The company that makes the robots, Shenzhen Atall Intelligent Robot Technology which is based in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, says most of its clients are 40 to 50-year-old men that come from Europe and the US. Disturbing images give an insight into China's strange sex robot factory where people can order custom-made AI dolls, some of which are the size of children.

"Sex Robots": Why buy one?

In his monthly column, Brian Gray from Glasgow-based consultancy Lascivious Marketing offers his thoughts on all things marketing…and perhaps one or two other things. This month he plays Devil's Advocate to the sex robot detractors. Oscar Wilde famously opined that he could resist everything but temptation. Opinion pieces with questionable arguments have the same effect on me. The British newspaper The Guardian published an article on Monday 25th September written by "robotics expert" Jenny Kleeman, titled "Should we ban sex robots while we have the chance?" The sub-heading posits: "AI sex dolls are on their way, with potentially sinister social consequences.
