We Spoke To Ameca, The World's Most Advanced Humanoid Robot

#artificialintelligence

What do robots really want? Do smart robots powered by artificial intelligence want to take over the world? Do they enjoy being in their metallic immortal bodies? These are among the most searing questions people wish to ask robots. Lucky for us, we got a chance to speak to the world's most advanced robot, Ameca at GITEX 2022 in Dubai.

Beomni creates jobs by enabling physical work to be done through the robot anywhere in the world from the comfort of your home or office. We completed Phase 1 in 2021, building and commercially beta testing Beomni, the world's first General Purpose Humanoid Robot. And we completed the cognitive architectural design of its Omni-Purpose AI Brain and Cloud Platform. Join us in completing Phase 2 as we bring Beomni to market and complete development of its Omni-Purpose AI Brain. In some parts of the world, there are too few workers where they are desperately needed, while elsewhere there are billions of people, living in poverty, who are willing to work. Beomni is the solution, allowing people to work anywhere and revolutionizing trillion-dollar markets around the world.

Last June at the International Forum on Women's Brain and Mental Health organized by the Women's Brain Project (WBP) in Zurich, Switzerland, there was a very special guest: Sophia the Advanced Humanoid Robot from Hanson Robotics. Sophia the Advanced Humanoid Robot participated in the last panel of the Forum "Leveraging AI to address gender bias", moderated by Nicoletta Iacobacci. Here, we are thrilled to share a selection of the "hot off the press" video footage of this event. Mara Hank Moret is a philanthropist and WBP supporter. In her conversation with Sophia, topics from gender identification to the importance of empathy, women in AI, and how to integrate diversity in data to avoid systemic biases are covered.
