Niantic is developing an augmented reality Monster Hunter action RPG

Engadget

Niantic, which is perhaps most known for developing Pokémon Go, is working on an augmented reality version of Monster Hunter for Android and iOS devices. The company has teamed up with Capcom to create what it calls a "real-world hunting action RPG" entitled Monster Hunter Now. Similar to Pokemon Go and Niantic's other titles, including the now-defunct Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, players will have to walk around with their phones to find monsters to battle. They can also team up with friends and strangers and use the materials they gather to craft weapons and armor. We have opened an official Twitter account for Real-world hunting action RPG "Monster Hunter Now" from Niantic and Capcom which announced today!

Amazon Games will bring Bandai Namco's 'Blue Protocol' to the west

Engadget

At the Game Awards, Amazon Games announced it will be publishing Bandai Namco's forthcoming free-to-play online RPG, Blue Protocol in the west. It's an action RPG, with the ability to play both solo and cooperatively. You'll apparently be able to participate in raids with up to 30 other players. While the game will be coming to PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, Blue Protocol is designed to be played on controllers, with aim-assist support for people not using a mouse and keyboard. In fact, each class will have different sliders to adjust controls for smoother playstyles. Talking of style, you'll apparently be able to customize your character deeply, across hairstyles, clothing accessories and even mounts – yes you'll have your own fantasy steed a little like Pokemon Legends Arceus.

Engadget

Genshin Impact developer Hoyoverse is working on a new project. On Friday, the studio shared the first trailer for Zenless Zone Zero, an action RPG set in a modern urban setting. Reminiscent of titles like The World Ends With You and Scarlett Nexus, the game pits players against Ethereal, monstrous creatures borne from another dimension. In a nod to Neon Genesis Evangelion, the action takes place in New Eridu, one of the few cities to survive the devastation wrought by the Ethereal. As a "Proxy," you'll need to organize a disparate party of characters to battle the monsters.

I recommend that you have at least a basic understanding of the Engine. I move fast at times and I expect you to figure things out on your own by pausing the video if needed. Purchasing this course does NOT give you personal consulting from me for basic issues. You can always hire me for that separately.
