The AAAI-18 workshop program included 15 workshops covering a wide range of topics in AI. Workshops were held Sunday and Monday, February 2–7, 2018, at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. This report contains summaries of the Affective Content Analysis workshop; the Artificial Intelligence Applied to Assistive Technologies and Smart Environments; the AI and Marketing Science workshop; the Artificial Intelligence for Cyber Security workshop; the AI for Imperfect-Information Games; the Declarative Learning Based Programming workshop; the Engineering Dependable and Secure Machine Learning Systems workshop; the Health Intelligence workshop; the Knowledge Extraction from Games workshop; the Plan, Activity, and Intent Recognition workshop; the Planning and Inference workshop; the Preference Handling workshop; the Reasoning and Learning for Human-Machine Dialogues workshop; and the the AI Enhanced Internet of Things Data Processing for Intelligent Applications workshop.

Deep learning and machine learning tailored toward a specific Next to convex optimization, contributed were hot topics, and the workshop application. It is now recognized that papers addressed the problems included papers from across the globe formal languages, and their symbolic of symbolic stochastic planning on deep reinforcement learning agents underpinnings, can enable descriptive and shortest path problems.

The Annual Conference on Innovative Applications of Artificial Intelligence offers case studies of deployed applications with measurable benefits whose value depends on the use of AI technology. In addition, many conferences supplement these case studies with papers and invited talksthat address emerging areas of AI technology or applications. IAAI was an independent conference during its early years. Recently, it has been organized as an independent program within the National Conference, with schedules coordinated to allow attendees to move freely between IAAI and National Conference sessions. Most years IAAI and the National Conference papers are published in a joint proceedings.

The Florida Artificial Intelligence Research Society Conference (FLAIRS) was founded in 1987 to promote and advance artificial intelligence research within the state of Florida, fostering interaction between researchers at colleges, universities, and industry. From its inception, one major goal of the society has been to promote the advancement of AI through a yearly conference. During the first two years of the conference, participation was limited to Florida residents. Since 1990, the conference has been open to all and has logged a dramatic increase in participation from around the world, due in part to the warm climate offered by this conference location, but also due to the increase in research quality.

The Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence presented the 2015 Fall Symposium Series, on Thursday through Saturday, November 12-14, at the Westin Arlington Gateway in Arlington, Virginia. The titles of the six symposia were as follows: AI for Human-Robot Interaction, Cognitive Assistance in Government and Public Sector Applications, Deceptive and Counter-Deceptive Machines, Embedded Machine Learning, Self-Confidence in Autonomous Systems, and Sequential Decision Making for Intelligent Agents. This article contains the reports from four of the symposia.

The Workshop program of the Twenty-First Conference on Artificial Intelligence was held July 16-17, 2006 in Boston, Massachusetts. The program was chaired by Joyce Chai and Keith Decker. The titles of the 17 workshops were AIDriven Technologies for Service-Oriented Computing; Auction Mechanisms for Robot Coordination; Cognitive Modeling and Agent-Based Social Simulations, Cognitive Robotics; Computational Aesthetics: Artificial Intelligence Approaches to Beauty and Happiness; Educational Data Mining; Evaluation Methods for Machine Learning; Event Extraction and Synthesis; Heuristic Search, Memory- Based Heuristics, and Their Applications; Human Implications of Human-Robot Interaction; Intelligent Techniques in Web Personalization; Learning for Search; Modeling and Retrieval of Context; Modeling Others from Observations; and Statistical and Empirical Approaches for Spoken Dialogue Systems.
