The key, Huffstetler says, is to start small and conduct an audit to understand your energy consumption and identify which areas require the greatest attention. Achieving sustainable computing requires company-wide focus from CIOs to product and manufacturing departments to IT teams. "It really is going to take every single part of an enterprise to achieve sustainable computing for the future," says Huffstetler.
