What does the hypothesis function of a single-feature NN look like? • /r/MachineLearning
Curious if anyone has a better answer, but AFAIK the linear and quadratic functions you're talking about are usually related to regression problems, while neural networks are traditionally used for classification problems. While you could use a neural network for this use, I'd imagine the graph could really look like almost anything, and could take any form the NN spit out. The fact that you're using a NN means you won't have a continuous graph like a regression problem.
