Organizing smart home gadgets into a single cohesive whole is already a bit of a nightmare. You likely have some kind of smart speaker--a Google Nest or Amazon Echo--and a collection of smart bulbs, thermostats, locks, or cameras that may or may not be made by the same company. Many of them work with each other, but most services assume a single person in the household owns and is setting up everything. This can make it a little difficult to separate all the devices you own when someone moves out, or after a breakup.
