Mark Zuckerberg is working on MIND-READING brain implants

Mark Zuckerberg is funding the development of mind-reading brain implants. The Facebook billionaire has pledged $50 million (£40 million) of his own money to combat deadly diseases around the world. The funds will be spent by the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub, which works with a variety of projects to tackle illness. Some of these projects include technologies that could be used to read people's minds - although currently the focus appears to be on medical applications. One of them is for a company called Cortera, which is working to develop'clinically viable and minimally invasive neural interfaces' for people with severe disabilities.
