New Nintendo Switch with OLED screen launching Oct. 8
It turns out video game fans will get a new Nintendo Switch model after all. After months of rumors about the arrival of an updated video game console, Nintendo announced it will release the Nintendo Switch (OLED model) on October 8 for $349.99. The upgraded Switch includes a bigger, 7-inch OLED screen, as well as a wide adjustable stand for use in tabletop mode, and a new dock which will support a wired internet connection. "The new Nintendo Switch (OLED model) is a great option for players who want to experience the new vibrant screen when playing in handheld and tabletop mode," said Nintendo of America President Doug Bowser, in a statement Tuesday. The new Switch will also bump up the amount of internal storage space from 32 GB in the original model to 64 GB.
