Combination of Human Ingenuity and Machine Intelligence

@machinelearnbot

I had the opportunity of being on a panel discussing Enterprise Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence at a IBM event, Machine Learning Everywhere: Build Your Ladder to AI in NYC, which will broadcast tomorrow. The event had IBM executives, distinguished panelists and the one and only, Garry Kasparov. As you may know, Garry was a Master Chess Champion for many years to later be defeated by Deep Blue in 1997. He has been somewhat "disrupted" by A.I. and machine learning before we even knew what it was, and now he is an evangelist of harnessing the power of machine intelligence and human creativity to solve great problems. As a reminder, it might be interesting for you to reflect on how intelligent Garry was in the game of chess, of being able to process many moves ahead in anticipation of the right strategy as it related to chess.
