Samsung unveils its voice-controlled 'Powerbot' vacuum
The first motorised vacuum cleaner was crafted by an English engineer in 1901, and the humble invention has come a long way since then. Robot vacuums can now automatically clean rooms and corridors around the home at just the touch of a button, making hungover New Year's Day cleaning a breeze. This week, Samsung announced the latest of its'Powerbot' robot vacuums, named the VR7000. The Korean tech firm says that its newest cleaner is compatible with Amazon's new Echo voice assistant, allowing users to control the robot with voice commands.
