Google execs are said to have declared a'code red' over fears its $150-billion-a-year search business monopoly could be wiped out thanks to the Microsoft-backed tool. Much has been made about ChatGPT's ability to perform eerily-human professional tasks such as writing emails and resumes. But fears in big tech stem from the fact it can instantly conversationally respond to users' questions, using data aggregated from the internet. That's a worry for search engines that rely on users scrolling and researching themselves, exposing them to advertisements.

These books include "How to Write and Create Content Using ChatGPT," "The Power of Homework" and poetry collection "Echoes of the Universe" and sci-fi epic about an interstellar brothel, "Galactic Pimp: Vol. There could be even thousands of new books that have been submitted in February alone, due to authors not having to disclose if they used ChatGPT or not. The vast majority of these are low quality books that are submitted to the Kindle store, just to make a quick buck.

I can't tell anyone what to do, but I believe it's a good idea to interact with AI models as if you were speaking to a human that you respect and who is trying to help you, even though they don't have to. When I communicate with AI models such as ChatGPT and Bing Chat by using words like "Could you?", "Please", and "Thank you", I always have a positive experience, and the responses are polite. We are currently teaching AI about ourselves, and this foundation of knowledge is being laid today. It may be difficult to project ourselves ten years into the future, but I believe that how we interact with AI models today will shape their capabilities and behaviors in the future. I am confident that in the future, people will treat AI with respect and regard it as a person. It's wise to get ahead of the game and start doing so now, which not only makes you feel better but also sets a good example for future generations.

Chinese regulators have reportedly clamped down on access to ChatGPT, as Chinese tech firms and universities push forward with developing domestic artificial intelligence bots. The UK needs to support the creation of a British version of ChatGPT, MPs were told on Wednesday, or the country would further lose the ability to determine its own fate. Speaking to the Commons science and technology committee, Adrian Joseph, BT's chief data and artificial intelligence officer, said the government needed to have a national investment in "large language models", the AI that underpins services such as ChatGPT, Bing Chat and Google's Bard.
