Roblox also seems to be aware of potential criticisms of AI tools taking away work from humans, as Sturman says that "we need an economic system that encourages" AI creation. "Roblox stands apart as a platform with a robust creator-backed marketplace and economy, and we must extend that to support in-experience user-creators as well as AI algorithm developers," Sturman writes. Sturman didn't specify exactly how it will pull that off, but I suspect the company is motivated to do so; it wouldn't be a great look if Roblox undermined its own Talent Hub with generative AI tools.

Netra AI CEO Don Horan noted that artificial intelligence could be used to generate malicious code quickly by removing the algorithms' intended controls and creating content outside the authorized purview. He said that foreign acts can utilize tools like ChatGPT to improve espionage and accelerate elicitation, a process wherein a perpetrator gets to know a subject very well by gathering information and creating "the profile of a human being." This information is then used to force people to comply with their intended mission.

Ask DALL·E 2, an image generation system created by OpenAI, to paint a picture of "goldfish slurping Coca-Cola on a beach," and it will spit out surreal images of exactly that. The program would have encountered images of beaches, goldfish, and Coca-Cola during training, but it's highly unlikely it would have seen one in which all three came together. Yet DALL·E 2 can assemble the concepts into something that might have made Dalí proud. As the popularity of AI-powered generative chatbots increases, critics are calling out creators of tools like OpenAI to come forward and take necessary steps to ward off any harm. In particular, emphasis was put on the likes of enabling the creators of the technology to take necessary precautions. Students were seen copying the content off the net, thanks to ChatGPT, and submitting the reports as a part of their own. Similarly, content farms were using it to produce more spam and then we saw the likes of bad actors spreading misinformation through such means. OpenAI was under fire to do something quickly as there appeared to be way too much risk attached.

Following the viral sensation that OpenAI's ChatGPT has become, it was only a matter of time before competition arose. Now, one of the largest tech companies has introduced its own program to hopefully compete in the AI arms race. So, here's everything you need to know about Google's AI chatbot, Bard. The system functions similarly to ChatGPT but has yet to occupy the same frenetic following of the OpenAI program. Google's AI chatbot, known as Bard, is the company's answer to the recent craze in generative AI technology.

OpenAI introduced a world of weird and wonderful mash-ups when its text-to-image model DALL-E was released in 2021. Type in a short description of pretty much anything, and the program spat out a picture of what you asked for in seconds. DALL-E 2, unveiled in April 2022, was a massive leap forward. Google also launched its own image-making AI, called Imagen. Yet the biggest game-changer was Stable Diffusion, an open-source text-to-image model released for free by UK-based startup Stability AI in August.
