On Thursday, Amazon announced that it is adding its voice assistant Alexa to its Fire tablets for the first time. The voice assistant has previously been in Amazon's Echo, Fire TV and Fire Stick devices, but will launch with the new, low-priced 90 Fire HD 8 tablet that ships on Sept. 21. Alexa is also coming to the Fire HD 10, Fire and last year's Fire HD 8 tablets via a free over-the-air software update in the coming months. This move is significant, as it puts Alexa more at odds with Siri, Apple's voice assistant, and pitches up the simmering competition in the voice-assistant space. The end game of all these voice assistants is to become an integral part of users' lives.

With barely over a month left before "2 Broke Girls" Season 6 makes its way to television, the show's stars Beth Behrs and Kat Dennings are making fans miss their tandem as they share way-too-cute photos and videos on their social media page. Behrs seems to enjoy doing this the most. On her Twitter account (@BethBehrs), the actress posted a video showing her and Dennings with deer filters. The two happily said hello, then Behrs said, "I'm a deer!" Dennings looked at her best friend and added, "You're a-deer-able!" Then both ladies shared cute giggles.

When did you start the company? I started working on the project in 2011 and it took many years of research and developing but I finally went to a Toronto International Film Festival family event in 2014. I managed to reach out to industry professionals but the feedback wasn't great so I went back to the drawing board and redesigned the software to be more interactive and more interpretable. I then founded the corporation in 2015 although I've been working on the project as a whole for 5 years now. Was your family supportive of you starting a company just like that?

Seeing as its capabilities have almost no bounds, it's only natural that one of the most complex and well-known AI's on the planet, IBM's Watson super-computer, would take a stab at something more advanced than your average prediction. IBM Watson scientists worked with the folks at 20th Century Fox to create the first "cognitive movie trailer" for the upcoming horror flick Morgan. IBM Watson analyzed more than 100 horror movies to learn what makes for a successful horror movie trailer. It analyzed each scene in those trailers, paying attention to the audio, visual, and overall composition trends that make something seem scary to us humans. The choice of using Morgan for this experiment is eerily perfect, too: The movie is about a humanoid robot that gets out of control and retaliates against its makers.

The stuff we see in movies in the future where computers and robots begin the think for themselves then very quickly understand that humans are inadequate so they'decide' humans are no longer needed and only machines should run the world. Yeah, That AI! Sounds like the perfect HR replacement! The actual definition of Artificial Intelligence is simply, intelligence exhibited by machines.
