He is also concerned with how the company will be able to certify artificial intelligence in the future in addition to its already established test fields. Behind this is the desire of the EU Commission and many European governments to make this key technology more transparent, to regulate it and, for example, to classify it into different risk categories. U.S. battles Putin by disclosing his next possible moves
Washington – After decades of getting schooled in information warfare by President Vladimir Putin of Russia, the United States is trying to beat the master at his own game. In recent weeks, the Biden administration has detailed the movement of Russian special operation forces to Ukraine's borders, exposed a Russian plan to create a video of a faked atrocity as a pretext for an invasion, outlined Moscow's war plans, warned that an invasion would result in possibly thousands of deaths and hinted that Russian officers had doubts about Putin. Then, on Friday, Jake Sullivan, President Joe Biden's national security adviser, told reporters at the White House that the United States was seeing signs of Russian escalation and that there was a "credible prospect" of immediate military action. Other officials said the announcement was prompted by new intelligence that signaled an invasion could begin as soon as Wednesday. All told, the extraordinary series of disclosures -- unfolding almost as quickly as information is collected and assessed -- has amounted to one of the most aggressive releases of intelligence by the United States since the Cuban missile crisis, current and former officials say.
AI & ML Cybersecurity: The Latest Battleground for Attackers & Defenders
Machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) have emerged as critical tools for dealing with the ever-growing volume and complexity of cybersecurity threats. Machines can recognize patterns to detect malware and unusual activity better than humans and classic software. The technology also predicts potential attacks and automatically responds to threats by identifying specific trends and cycles. Indeed, it's not uncommon to have similar incidents that generally require the same response. Instead of repeating the same procedure, sometimes manually, the system can detect the attack, report and categorize the incident, and then apply the fix automatically.
UK Government is colluding with the WEF on Artificial Intelligence for The Great Reset
The UK government confirms it is playing a leading role on global AI ethics and regulations and that it published Guidelines on AI Procurement in collaboration with the World Economic Forum Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. According to Ernst Wolff, German author and journalist, we are sitting right in the middle of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and expect, in the period ahead of us, the loss of millions and millions of jobs due to the introduction of artificial intelligence ("AI"). What has happened since March 2020 is according to a plan which can be read in books about the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the Great Reset by Klaus Schwab, whose World Economic Forum ("WEF") plays a key role in this whole agenda. "The UK has a history of innovation-friendly approaches to regulation, in areas such as FinTech, HealthTech and online harms," Matt Warman MP responded on 15 June 2021 to a parliamentary written question. Two members of the UK's Healthtech Advisory Board are Daniel Korski and Nicole Junkermann.
Artificial Intelligence for Cybersecurity
When working with supervised learning problems, we are provided with a dataset already labelled (we have some past data about a phenomenon and its resulting outcome). In this scenario, we can be either interested to learn how to predict to which class a new data point might belong to (classification) or to assign it a numerical value from a continuous spectrum (regression). Regression problems could be used in cybersecurity for example in order to try to predict how many devices could have been corrupted by a cybersecurity attack or quantify the level of damage due to a security attack. An example of a classification problem could instead be trying to predict if a login attempt is genuine or not (based on factors such as location, time, machine, etc.). When working with classification problems it can be extremely important to make sure to have a balanced number of examples for each possible output class.
Ukraine's Armed Drones Could Offset Some of Russia's Military Advantage
KYIV, Ukraine--Last October, as artillery shells fired by Moscow-backed separatists pounded a Ukrainian mechanized brigade, Kyiv responded with a powerful new weapon. A Turkish-made drone launched a missile and knocked out a Russian-supplied howitzer. This demonstration of force--the first drone strike in combat by Ukraine's military--unnerved Russia and fueled complaints from Moscow that North Atlantic Treaty Organization countries including Turkey, the U.S. and Britain were threatening Russia's security by supplying sophisticated new weapons to Kyiv.

The relevance of the video is that the browser identified the application being used by the IAI as Google Earth and, according to the OSC 2006 report, the Arabic-language caption reads Islamic Army in Iraq/The Military Engineering Unit – Preparations for Rocket Attack, the video was recorded in 5/1/2006, we provide, in Appendix A, a reproduction of the screenshot picture made available in the OSC report. Now, prior to the release of this video demonstration of the use of Google Earth to plan attacks, in accordance with the OSC 2006 report, in the OSC-monitored online forums, discussions took place on the use of Google Earth as a GEOINT tool for terrorist planning. On August 5, 2005 the user "Al-Illiktrony" posted a message to the Islamic Renewal Organization forum titled A Gift for the Mujahidin, a Program To Enable You to Watch Cities of the World Via Satellite, in this post the author dedicated Google Earth to the mujahidin brothers and to Shaykh Muhammad al-Mas'ari, the post was replied in the forum by "Al-Mushtaq al-Jannah" warning that Google programs retain complete information about their users. This is a relevant issue, however, there are two caveats, given the amount of Google Earth users, it may be difficult for Google to flag a jihadist using the functionality in time to prevent an attack plan, one possible solution would be for Google to flag computers based on searched websites and locations, for instance to flag computers that visit certain critical sites, but this is a problem when landmarks are used, furthermore, and this is the second caveat, one may not use one's own computer to produce the search or even mask the IP address. On October 3, 2005, as described in the OSC 2006 report, in a reply to a posting by Saddam Al-Arab on the Baghdad al-Rashid forum requesting the identification of a roughly sketched map, "Almuhannad" posted a link to a site that provided a free download of Google Earth, suggesting that the satellite imagery from Google's service could help identify the sketch.
Israel unveils artificial intelligence strategy for armed forces
Israel has adopted a new strategy for the incorporation and use of artificial intelligence across the branches of its armed forces, according to a senior Israel Defense Forces official. The new strategy was unveiled amid the AI Week 2022 three-day event at The Blavatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center and Tel Aviv Center for AI and Data Science at Tel Aviv University. The event included a session on the IDF's new information and AI strategy. A senior Israel Defense Forces official, whose name could not be used due to the sensitivity of their position, noted that the IDF is undergoing a digital transformation in dealing with AI in all its branches and the commands. This will be the first time the IDF has a multi-branch and multi-command plan for use of AI.
AI Algorithms Could Rapidly Deploy to the Battlefield Under New Initiative
The Pentagon's Joint Artificial Intelligence Center recently started building a joint operating system and integration layer that combatant commands and other military components could eventually use to rapidly make and field artificial intelligence algorithms. This work is one key piece of the center's new Artificial Intelligence and Data Accelerator, or AIDA, JAIC Director Lt. Gen. Michael Groen confirmed this week during the NDIA 2022 Expeditionary Warfare Conference. "AIDA brings us, in small teams, out to the combatant commanders--now, for those of you who have been in combatant commands, or you're familiar with that environment--combat commanders have all of the challenges, all the problems and only some capability, right? And so what we're trying to do from an information advantage perspective is bring them the advantages of good data and good artificial intelligence-generating insights," he explained. Launched last year by Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks, AIDA marks a broad initiative to boost data-based decision-making across the military's 11 combatant commands.

However, there's been a significant volume of water that's passed under the policy and lawmaking bridge since then, so I wanted to revisit the question. First, let's back up a little. I have to admit that my reasoning in 2018 was narrow rather than broad. The work – and let's note that it doesn't have to be considered aesthetically "good" or have required a lot of skill – must simply be original (meaning that it was independently created and has at least a "modicum" of creativity) and an expression of some sort.
