'Killer robots' will be nothing like the movies show – here's where the real threats lie
You might suppose Hollywood is good at predicting the future. Indeed, Robert Wallace, head of the CIA's Office of Technical Service and the US equivalent of MI6's fictional Q, has recounted how Russian spies would watch the latest Bond movie to see what technologies might be coming their way. Hollywood's continuing obsession with killer robots might therefore be of significant concern. The newest such movie is Apple TV's forthcoming sex robot courtroom drama Dolly. I never thought I'd write the phrase "sex robot courtroom drama", but there you go.
Mohamed Nabil, an Entrepreneur who founded the leading AI communication startup across the MENA region
He overcame surrender and did not despair despite his projects having been rejected, at the beginning of his career, but eventually became an entrepreneur in technology across Middle East-wide through his company "WideBot," which specializes in artificial intelligence "AI" and its influential role in customer relationship management (CRM) and digital business management. He is "Mohamed Nabil," a 35-year-old, from Alexandria who graduated from the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, Mansoura University in 2007. Immediately after graduation, he began to think seriously about how to start his own business, he had already set up companies, some companies have failed miserably and some have succeeded, but it was not a great and overwhelming success. During Mohamed's struggle, he supported him and stood by his side, Ahmed was his college friend, and he is also with his technical co-founder. And their work on that idea took about two years, they presented their idea to more than one large supermarket in Egypt and abroad, but unfortunately, it was not successful enough and the idea of their project was very new to the market.
Russian 'Kamikaze Drones' Strike Kyiv: Ukraine
Russian-launched "kamikaze drones" attacked Kyiv early Monday, the Ukrainian presidency said, describing the strikes as an act of desperation nearly eight months into a war that has claimed thousands of lives. Air raid sirens sounded in Kyiv shortly before the first explosion at around 6:35 am (0335), followed by sirens across most of the country. "The capital was attacked by kamikaze drones," the president's chief of staff Andriy Yermak said on social media. "The Russians think it will help them, but it shows their desperation," he added. "We need more air defence systems and as soon as possible. More weapons to defend the sky and destroy the enemy."
AI Ethics And AI Law Clarifying What In Fact Is Trustworthy AI
Will we be able to achieve trustworthy AI, and if so, how. Trust is everything, so they say. The noted philosopher Lao Tzu said that those who do not trust enough will not be trusted. Ernest Hemingway, an esteemed novelist, stated that the best way to find out if you can trust somebody is by trusting them. Meanwhile, it seems that trust is both precious and brittle. The trust that one has can collapse like a house of cards or suddenly burst like a popped balloon. The ancient Greek tragedian Sophocles asserted that trust dies but mistrust blossoms. French philosopher and mathematician Descartes contended that it is prudent never to trust wholly those who have deceived us even once. Billionaire business investor extraordinaire Warren Buffett exhorted that it takes twenty years to build a trustworthy reputation and five minutes to ruin it. You might be surprised to know that all of these varied views and provocative opinions about trust are crucial to the advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Yes, there is something keenly referred to as trustworthy AI that keeps getting a heck of a lot of attention these days, including handwringing catcalls from within the field of AI and also boisterous outbursts by those outside of the AI realm. The overall notion entails whether or not society is going to be willing to place trust in the likes of AI systems. Presumably, if society won't or can't trust AI, the odds are that AI systems will fail to get traction.
How Adversarial Attacks work part1(Machine Learning)
Abstract: Deep learning models have shown their vulnerability when dealing with adversarial attacks. Existing attacks almost perform on low-level instances, such as pixels and super-pixels, and rarely exploit semantic clues. For face recognition attacks, existing methods typically generate the l_p-norm perturbations on pixels, however, resulting in low attack transferability and high vulnerability to denoising defense models. In this work, instead of performing perturbations on the low-level pixels, we propose to generate attacks through perturbing on the high-level semantics to improve attack transferability. Specifically, a unified flexible framework, Adversarial Attributes (Adv-Attribute), is designed to generate inconspicuous and transferable attacks on face recognition, which crafts the adversarial noise and adds it into different attributes based on the guidance of the difference in face recognition features from the target.

Will Artificial Intelligence replace software developers?

The Bank of England has again intervened to ensure there isn't a fire sale of UK government bonds by pension funds. The Institute for Fiscal Studies has published a report saying the government will have to find £60bn of spending cuts over four years to pay for the recent mini-budget. The International Monetary Fund has restated its criticism of said mini-budget indicating that the unfunded cuts will ramp up inflation. With all this going on, you might have thought that Kwasi Kwarteng and his Treasury gang might have been feeling a bit chastened. After all, it's not every chancellor who gets to screw up their first budget on such a grand scale.
