Robotics4EU is a 3-years-long EU-funded project which advocates for a wider adoption for AI-based robots in 4 sectors: healthcare, inspection and maintenance of infrastructure, agri-food, and agile production. Thus, Robotics4EU raises awareness about non-technological aspects in robotics through delivering a series of workshops to involve the research community, industry representatives and citizens. Social impact of Robotics in Inspection and Maintenance" which took place on the 26th of January, 2022 tackled the problem of interactions between robots and humans. How to evaluate the real impact of robotics on our society? How to decide if robots are hazardous and may complicate human lives? To what extent does society accept rapidly progressing robotic technologies?

Those who wants to learn and understand only concepts can take course 1 only. Those who wants to learn and understand concepts and also wants to know and/or do programming of the those concepts should take both course 1 and course 2. It is highly recommended to complete course 1 before starting course 2. NOTE: This course do not teach computer vision, deep learning, Python and OOPs from scratch, instead uses all of these to develop camera perception algorithms for ADAS and Autonomous Driving applications.

For example, if you want to know whether a movie review is positive or negative, you can use two categories to build a sentiment analysis project. Take this one step further, and classify sentences or documents by topic using several categories. In both use cases, you start with a pre-trained language model and then "train" a classifier using example classified text to create our text classification project."

While diverse AI courses are offered in higher education engineering and computer science departments, an AI course is not yet compulsory in them across all universities. One of the reasons is that demand exceeds supply, making it difficult to recruit lecturers in the field due to competition from the industry. Beyond theoretical studies, there are also not enough practical courses available. Consequently, there are also various initiatives of private companies that collaborate with academia on this subject. As an example, I and other employees of my group have been volunteering to teach an introductory AI course in a bachelor's degree in computer science at Tel Aviv University for the past five years.
