Thank you for visiting this site. I am currently with PyImageSearch where I apply deep learning to solve real-world problems in computer vision and bring some of the solutions to edge devices. I am also responsible for providing Q&A support to PyImageSearch readers. Previously at DataCamp, I developed projects for DataCamp Project. My DataCamp projects Predicting Credit Card Approvals and Analyze International Debt Statistics are now launched and so is my DataCamp practice pool Advanced Deep Learning with Keras in Python (I created exercises for DataCamp Practice too).
4 Case Studies in Digital Transformation Strategy - RPA
Let's cut through the marketing speak. Overuse has obscured the meaning of terms like "disruption" and "digital transformation," making it hard to clarify the threat that disruption actually poses, and identify the strategies of companies that make through to the other side and thrive in the new reality. Even if the terminology feels abstract, the effects are real. The'automation first' era is upon us, and, as in the mainframe, personal computer, and mobile technology eras that preceded automation first, businesses that can't adapt will lag behind. Businesses and employees are already using software robots to increase efficiency, generate greater returns, and free employees from tedious tasks. It's easy to envision a time in the future when every human will have a software robot of their own at their disposal--a robot for every person. Companies that are thriving in this automation first era have developed digital transformation strategies that prioritize a change in mindset.
AI DevWorld – World's Largest AI Conference & Expo. San Jose, California
AI Dev World (October 8-10, San Jose Convention Center) will be the world's largest artificial intelligence dev event with tracks covering chatbots, machine learning, open source AI libraries, AI for the enterprise, and deep AI / neural networks. This conference targets software engineers and data scientists who are looking for an introduction to AI as well as AI dev professionals looking for a landscape view on the newest AI technologies. Artificial intelligence technologies are the most potentially disruptive technologies facing the world, and the real breakthroughs in AI are Ai developer technologies. Behind self-driving cars, facial recognition, healthcare AI analytics, and customer targeting, there is a new AI developer technology. AI Dev World is the hub for the newest breakthroughs in AI developer technologies.
The Future Of Work: 5 Important Ways Jobs Will Change In The 4th Industrial Revolution
In many respects, the future of work is already here. Amid the headlines exclaiming the predicted loss of jobs due to automation and other changes brought by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and autonomous systems, it's clear that the way we work and live is transforming. This evolution can be unnerving. Since we know change is inevitable, let's look at how work will likely change and some ideas for how to prepare for it. At least 30% of the activities associated with the majority of occupations in the United States could be automated, which includes even knowledge tasks that were previously thought to be safe according to a McKinsey Global Institute report.
Frontier Spotlight: The Top 10 Data Center Stories for August 2019
What is the impact of AI on data center cooling. Where's the latest data center market movement in the leading colo market of Northern Virginia? And is Silicon Valley data center market gaining momentum? A New Cloud Corridor Emerges South of Ashburn: A new cloud corridor is emerging in Northern Virginia, as data center developers lock down development parcels just west of Dulles Airport. Recent deals value data center sites at more than $1 million an acre.
AI learns the language of chemistry to predict how to make medicines
Researchers have designed a machine learning algorithm that predicts the outcome of chemical reactions with much higher accuracy than trained chemists and suggests ways to make complex molecules, removing a significant hurdle in drug discovery. University of Cambridge researchers have shown that an algorithm can predict the outcomes of complex chemical reactions with over 90% accuracy, outperforming trained chemists. The algorithm also shows chemists how to make target compounds, providing the chemical "map" to the desired destination. The results are reported in two studies in the journals ACS Central Science and Chemical Communications. A central challenge in drug discovery and materials science is finding ways to make complicated organic molecules by chemically joining together simpler building blocks.
Artificial intelligence vision still inferior to human eye
In recent years, images have been everything in technology. Surely, we will trust in machines more when image systems with artificial intelligence (AI) including cameras, sensors and especially fully-autonomous car driving and security cameras, can comprehend images correctly like a human being and make sense of them. However, we need some time to reach this point. In fact, everything started two years ago when Google's AI mistook a turtle for a rifle. This image which surely depicts a turtle for the human eye was a gun for Google's AI as the animal probably had camouflage colors and patterns.
Israel claims to uncover Hezbollah missile plant in 'civilian locations' in Lebanon's Bakaa Valley
JERUSALEM – The Israeli military said Tuesday the militant group Hezbollah and Iran have built a precision-missile factory in neighboring Lebanon's Bekaa Valley. The army issued a statement saying that "in fear of strikes" by Israel, Hezbollah had moved key equipment from the site to "civilian locations in Beirut." It didn't specify when this happened. The military said the factory was of "superior importance" to Hezbollah. An official, speaking anonymously under military rules, said the factory is operational but missing major components.
