California-based startup, Reflect Orbital, is poised to secure permission to launch a 60-foot (18.3-metre) prototype mirror into orbit to beam sunlight back to the Earth's surface. Once it has reached an altitude of 400 miles (640 km), the mirror will unfurl and illuminate a patch of Earth about three miles (4.8 km) wide. Someone looking up from the ground would see a small dot of light about as bright as the moon. Reflect Orbital says its space mirrors could allow solar power plants to operate 24 hours a day, provide lighting for disaster-struck regions, and even replace street lights.

The agency has been tracking the Van Allen Probe A and predicts it will reenter the atmosphere at around 7.45pm ET, though the exact timing could vary by up to 24 hours. Because the spacecraft is traveling thousands of miles per hour and the reentry window spans nearly a full day, scientists cannot predict exactly where debris may fall. NASA said most of the spacecraft is expected to burn up as it streaks through the atmosphere, although some components could survive the fall. The risk of anyone being harmed is extremely low, estimated at roughly 1 in 4,200.

Anthony Glees, Emeritus Professor at the University of Buckingham, called the US and Israeli decision to attack Iran a'war of choice' and the first red flag, which previously led to the last two world wars. He claimed that the conflict in the Middle East did not start of necessity or self-defense, but as a deliberate decision by two leaders focused on gaining power and keeping it . Next, Glees alleged that both President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu share the same mindset that'might is right,' even if that means ignoring international law. The historian warned that such attitudes have appeared before among aggressive regimes that have invaded nearby nations to satisfy their own ambitions.
