The probe, called Dart, successfully changed the path of the moonlet, called Dimorphos, around its parent asteroid, Didymos. The mission was hailed as the first-ever successful demonstration of planetary defence, proving humanity can alter an asteroid's trajectory. But now, scientists have revealed the test also knocked both asteroids off their regular orbit around the Sun.

Kitchen storage is a challenge in most homes and stacking items may seem like the most obvious solution. But Chris Townsend, a home moving expert, said this is one of the most common and damaging kitchen mistakes people can make. He warned the weight and friction involved with putting pots and pans on top of each other can cause a surprising amount of damage over time. 'The inside of your pans takes the brunt of the damage when they're stacked,' Mr Townsend, from Three Movers, said.

Dr Michael Guillen told the Daily Mail that for decades, he saw science as the highest authority, until the 1980s, when reading the Bible for the first time changed everything. Guillen now argues that modern science increasingly points away from Darwin's theory of evolution and closer to the Christian view of human origins. 'When you look at the continuum that evolutionary biologists say we are part of, in fact, we are not part of a continuum,' he said. 'All these animals are related to one another.
