The Week 10 challenges for Fortnite Season 5 are finally here, with players told to "search jigsaw puzzle pieces in basements" throughout the map of the wildly popular game. Other challenges include eating mushrooms or apples and killing 10 enemies, but Fortnite players appear to be most perplexed by the locations of the puzzle pieces. The three challenges are all free to play, however there are also extra challenges for players who have paid for a Battle Pass. They include searching chests in Salty Springs, dealing 5,000 damage to opponents and eliminating an opponent in Pleasant Park. The I.F.O. is fuelled by eight electric engines, which is able to push the flying object to an estimated top speed of about 120mph.

Poll finds people believe robots will do most human jobs in 50 years
WASHINGTON (WASHINGTON POST) - A new poll shows that in several countries around the world, large majorities of people believe it is most likely that robots will be doing much of the work done by humans within 50 years. The effects of this technological leap are not viewed optimistically by most, however. Instead, people largely say they think humans will struggle to find meaningful work and inequality will rise, the research found. The poll was conducted earlier this year by the Pew Research Centre in Greece, Japan, Canada, Argentina, Poland, Brazil, South Africa, Italy and Hungary. Pew also compared the responses in those countries to a poll done in the United States in 2015 that asked about automation. In general, the poll found that majorities in most countries were in agreement that robots would soon do humans' work, with only limited differences in their views of how this would affect society despite some countries being advanced economically and others still developing.

These self-driving concept vehicles are like nothing you've seen before BMW has unveiled its vision for a self-driving electric crossover SUV and, if it actually ends up being a lot like the concept version, it should be a pretty cozy place to hang out. The BMW Vision iNext is a concept vehicle for now. But BMW executives said they plan to put something like it into production in 2021. The car was unveiled inside the belly of a cargo plane at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. Inside, BMW's executives displayed working versions of some of the technologies being considered for the car, including touch sensitive fabrics and interactive projections.
Alfred: a virtual assistant helping older people stay active
Senior citizens often need support to live independently and actively participate in their communities. The EU-funded Alfred project came up with a Personal Interactive Assistant to help the elderly overcome the obstacles preventing them from carrying out everyday tasks. The project created a virtual'butler' to which people can talk, ask questions or give commands, and developed systems to encourage older people to socialise by suggesting and managing events, to monitor their state of health, and to help them stay physically and mentally active via personalised games. It produced 25 apps, both for immediate use and to inspire developers interested in designing new services that target the needs of senior citizens. The Alfred project brought together expertise and technology from a range of different areas: ubiquitous computing, big data, gaming, the semantic web, cyber physical systems, the internet of things, the internet of services, and human-computer interaction.

The British installation at the London Design Biennale is an international project that demonstrates how victims of human rights violations around the world can gather proof of their own experiences. Plastic bottles, digital cameras and kites, just some of the low-cost items in the exhibition, are being used in the Sinjar region of northern Iraq to gather the remaining evidence of Isis's 2014 treatment of the Yazidi ethnic minority, treatment that survivors and their supporters have called genocide and hope to prosecute in the international courts. Not only do they say thousands were killed by the terrorist group and thousands more displaced, but Yazidi cultural and religious heritage sites were destroyed and their temples were used as mass graves. Four years later, the region is still dangerous, littered with landmines and booby-traps left by the militants as they retreated. So when Yazda, a global rights organisation established by the Yazidi diaspora, sought help in supplementing their documentation efforts from Forensic Architecture, an independent research agency based at Goldsmiths, University of London, its team of architects, photographers, software developers, lawyers and archaeologists adapted their investigative methods to provide ways for Yazidis to gather video and data without entering the most hazardous areas.
