We love it when people exceed expectations. Whether it's an athlete who steps up to replace an injured starter or a team that pulls together to deliver exceptional results, it is inspiring to see long-held assumptions about potential turned upside down. Now, service organizations have an opportunity to exceed traditional expectations in the same way. Instead of being considered simply a means of connection and cost containment post-customer purchase, intelligent service teams can become a strategic driver to direct value back to the business. Focusing on speed, insights, and accuracy, SAP Service Cloud resolves customer issues at unmatched speed -- protecting the brands promise and securing future growth.
Eileen Yu began covering the IT industry when Asynchronous Transfer Mode was still hip and e-commerce was the new buzzword. Currently an independent business technology journalist and content specialist based in Singapore, she has over 20 years of industry experience with various publications including ZDNet, IDG, and Singapore Press Holdings. Big Data Exchange (BDx) has marked its entry into Indonesia's data centre market through a joint venture agreement with PT Indosat and the latter's two subsidiaries. The move aims to tap increasing demand for cloud services and connectivity. Estimated to be worth $300 million, the deal would see BDx enter a conditional sale and purchase agreement of shares (CSPA) and establish a joint venture with PT Indosat, PT Aplikanusa Lintasarta, and PT Starone Mitra Telekomunikasi (SMT). Under the agreement, BDx, Indosat, and Lintasarta would set up data centre and cloud operations in the Asian market, BDx said in a statement Thursday.
D2iQ, the leading enterprise Kubernetes provider for smart cloud-native applications, announced version 2.0 of Kaptain AI/ML, the enterprise-ready distribution of open-source Kubeflow that enables organizations to develop, deploy, and run artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) workloads in production environments. Powered by Kubeflow 1.5, the Kubernetes machine learning toolkit, Kaptain AI/ML now provides data science teams with features such as expanded control for mounting data volumes and increased visibility into idle notebooks, so they can spend more time developing and less time managing infrastructure. The enhanced user experience enables data scientists to more effectively manage the lifecycle of AI and ML models without the need for infrastructure knowledge and skill sets. By simplifying the deployment and full lifecycle management of AI and ML workloads at scale, Kaptain AI/ML 2.0 accelerates the impact of smart cloud-native applications. This enables organizations to drive better business results by more quickly delivering new smart products and services, becoming more agile when updating models, and driving smarter customer experiences.
New-age careers like cloud reliability engineer, Artificicial Intelligence (AI) architect, malware analyst, digital transformation specialists and many others have taken the job market by storm. These choices have been fuelled by tech courses like Data Science, DevOps, Cloud Computing, AI and and Machine Learning, Cybersecurity resulting in a huge demand for online certifications from ed-tech platforms who have collaborated with distinguished educational institutions. But is this change here to stay and what is its impact? The online education market is expected to touch Rs 360 billion by 2024, up from Rs 39 billion, according to a recent report by data firm'Research and Markets.' With a futuristic approach, DevOps as a system encompasses everything from organization to culture, processes, and tools and its adoption is growing rapidly.
Eden AI simplifies the use and deployment of AI technologies by providing a unique API connected to the best AI engines. Companies are increasingly using Artificial Intelligence services, especially when it comes to automating internal processes or improving their customers' experience. The strong development of AI makes it a commodity. These functionalities can be used in several fields: health, human resources, tech, etc. The big players in the cloud market (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud) offer solutions that provide access to this type of service, but there are also smaller providers that are already competing with them: Mindee, Dataleon, Deepgram, AssemblyAI, Rev.AI, Speechmatics, Lettria, etc.
Since completing a degree in journalism, Aimee has had her fair share of covering various topics, including business, retail, manufacturing, and travel. She continues to expand her repertoire as a tech journalist with ZDNet. Google Cloud has announced the general availability of TPU virtual machines (VMs) for artificial intelligence workloads. Google Cloud said embedding acceleration with Cloud TPU can help businesses lower cost associated with ranking and recommendation use-cases which commonly rely on deeply neural network-based algorithms that can be costly to run. "They tend to use large amounts of data and can be difficult and expensive to train and deploy with traditional ML infrastructure," Google Cloud said in a blog post.
Managing data has always been a challenge for businesses. With new sources and higher volumes of data coming in all the time, it's more important than ever to have the right tools in place. Predictive analytics tools and software are the best way to accomplish this task. Data scientists and business leaders must be able to organize data and clean it to get the process started. The next step is analyzing it and sharing the results with colleagues.
Joe McKendrick is an author and independent analyst who tracks the impact of information technology on management and markets. As an independent analyst, he has authored numerous research reports in partnership with Forbes Insights, IDC, and Unisphere Research, a division of Information Today, Inc. There's been plenty of discussion about the new types of skills needed to get into the cloud computing game. But the impact on current technology professionals' roles and responsibilities has also been undergoing a significant shift as well. Cloud isn't just an in-demand skill -- it is changing the nature of tech responsibilities, industry observers agree.
Coral is Google's platform for adding on-device AI and inferencing capabilities to hardware. To make it more widely available, especially for Internet of Things use cases, Google is partnering with Asus IoT. Asus IoT is a sub-brand of Asus, and Google wants to scale manufacturing, distribution, and support for Coral with this agreement. With decades of experience in electronics manufacturing at a global scale, ASUS IoT will provide Coral with the resources to meet our growth demands while we continue to develop new products for edge computing. This will see Asus IoT "become the primary channel for sales, distribution and support" for Coral, with customers getting "dedicated teams for sales and technical support" in the process.
The combination of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cloud computing, or the AI cloud, is an emerging concept in enterprise software architecture. It addresses the current demands and challenges of storing and processing high-volume data, build and run algorithms in the cloud, integrate advanced machine learning services. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cloud computing are at the center of most enterprise solutions today. Individually, the two technologies have evolved to support businesses in handling large data volumes, structuring their IT infrastructure, and accelerating processes and operations. The AI cloud is the natural progression of the technologies, wherein AI is deployed within the cloud environment to enhance decision intelligence while reducing costs.
