The AI Index 2021 Annual Report

arXiv.org Artificial Intelligence

Welcome to the fourth edition of the AI Index Report. This year we significantly expanded the amount of data available in the report, worked with a broader set of external organizations to calibrate our data, and deepened our connections with the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI). The AI Index Report tracks, collates, distills, and visualizes data related to artificial intelligence. Its mission is to provide unbiased, rigorously vetted, and globally sourced data for policymakers, researchers, executives, journalists, and the general public to develop intuitions about the complex field of AI. The report aims to be the most credible and authoritative source for data and insights about AI in the world.

Learn Who Is Potentially Using Cutting Edge Solutions to Create the Next Generation of Robotics and Automation

Clinton Township, Michigan--(Newsfile Corp. - March 1, 2021) - Resgreen Group (OTC PINK: RGGI) ("RGGI"), a leading mobile robot company, today announced the development of Atlas, its new Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) for demanding industrial and mission critical 24/7 applications. The vehicle can use either natural feature or magnetic tape guidance to navigate through manufacturing facilities and warehouses. The natural feature or free guidance requires no wires, tape or navigation marks. Instead, the vehicle uses advanced lasers to scan its surroundings, and then determines its position based on the mapped features along its path. "Atlas mobile robot was designed to meet a wide variety of customers' needs, whether it's free navigation requiring no modification to your facility or more cost-effective magnetic tape guidance," said Parsh Patel, CEO of RGGI. "We also understand industrial customers require a rugged vehicle that is built to last and moves heavy loads easily." It features 5G communications and operates using an Android or iOS application in manual mode and WiFi in automatic mode.

What if I told a story here, how would that story start?" Thus, the summarization prompt: "My second grader asked me what this passage means: …" When a given prompt isn't working and GPT-3 keeps pivoting into other modes of completion, that may mean that one hasn't constrained it enough by imitating a correct output, and one needs to go further; writing the first few words or sentence of the target output may be necessary.

Cobots: The PCs Of The Robot Era

#artificialintelligence

The market for cobots is emerging as a fast-growing segment of the rapidly growing industrial robotics market. Demand for cobots is expected to rise at a CAGR of more than 50 percent over the next decade. Although there are some reasons to assume that the acceptance and implementation of cobots will slow growth somewhat, it is clear that the cobot market is rapidly expanding and the number of use cases will continue to rise. The steadily falling prices of components such as sensors make cobots accessible for SMEs. All markets are expected to see growth rates above 50 percent CAGR, but in a regional sense, expectations are especially high for China, because it still lags in the use of robots, when compared to countries like South Korea, Japan, the US, and Germany.

3 Growth Stocks That Could Soar More Than Nvidia -- The Motley Fool

#artificialintelligence

NVIDIA's (NASDAQ:NVDA) graphic cards have long been favorites among hardcore gamers, but who would've thought the chipmaker's stock would explode the way it has in recent times? The share price has more than tripled in just the past year, turning NVIDIA into a near eight-bagger in just five years. It's more an artificial intelligence computing company today, having made huge headway in two of the hottest technology fields of our times: AI and self-driving cars. For investors looking to find the "next NVIDIA," the trick is to find a company that is sitting on a big growth opportunity, or is already tapping into a soon-to-heat-up trend, but that is still flying under Wall Street's radar. These are stocks with the potential to soar.
