#artificialintelligence

Broadcom Inc. has announced expanding opportunities for organizations to gain greater value from the company's advanced AI, security, and hybrid cloud solutions with "Day One" support for IBM's new z16. Broadcom's suite of software solutions, services, and unique "beyond code" programs provide clients an advantage to succeed in an increasingly challenging business environment. "Our strategic investments position clients to exploit the z16 along with advances in AI, cybersecurity, cloud integration, and agility," said Greg Lotko, senior VP and GM, Mainframe Software Division, Broadcom. What distinguishes Broadcom is our deep investment in technology and how we work side-by-side in partnership with our clients to overcome their unique challenges and create new opportunities." As a member of the z16 Early Ship Program, Broadcom collaborated with IBM to ensure clients can capitalize on the full range of our mainframe software solutions on the new platform to drive progress toward their innovation and business goals. Do you find these levels helpful when it comes to knowing what an AV can do? What's the difference between driver support features and automated driving? Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) recognise that levels 0-2 are better defined as'driver support features.' Level 3 and above encompass what they would now refer to as'automated driving features.' a six degrees of automated driving: from zero automation to full automation.

Can humans and AI work side by side? A guide to what comes next

#artificialintelligence

In August, Elon Musk announced that he was developing a humanoid robot called "Tesla Bot" -- a prototype of which will supposedly be ready in 2022. The presentation itself was slightly bizarre, both because the bot was represented on stage by a dancing human in a bodysuit, and because Musk has warned for years about the dangers of artificial intelligence. But he was right about one thing: AI and robotics could eventually lead to a future where technology is so advanced that our role, much of our work and even our purpose in life could fundamentally change. As someone who has studied and worked in AI for the better part of four decades, my contention is that this change will likely come faster and go further than many of us anticipate -- even if it's driven more by AI-powered software than dancing robots. The question is how we're going to prepare.

How to Achieve Consistent Quality in AI

#artificialintelligence

AI has tremendous potential for benefiting humanity in every area of how we live and work. While most people realize this fact, their hopes for AI also come with a note of caution. A recent survey reported that 77% of Americans expressed that AI would have a "very positive" or "mostly positive" impact on how people work and live in the next 10 years. Another public opinion poll reported that an overwhelming majority of Americans (82%) believed that AI should be carefully managed. With such conflicting viewpoints on AI, organizations will need to manage the quality of the AIs they build.

Artificial Intelligence in the Finance and Banking Sector?

#artificialintelligence

AI is fantabulous and in demand in the banking and finance sector. The technological furtherance in AI – machine learning, computer vision and natural language processing has downright remodelled the business world. The expert opinion states that the growth of the AI market would reach $190 billion by the year 2025! The application of conversational assistants or chatbots is one of the substantial benefits of AI in the banking and finance sector. As opposed to an employee, a chatbot is at one's disposal 24 hours a day, and clients are more complacent using this software programme to answer inquiries and complete many typical banking procedures that traditionally called for face-to-face interaction.

How AI is helping to Address Staffing Shortages in Healthcare

#artificialintelligence

Over the last two years, staffing shortages in healthcare have impacted many hospital and healthcare facility business operations, especially during emergency events like COVID-19. A resourceful approach is overdue, and artificial intelligence might have a part in ensuring the continuity of patient care and security by using various AI tools. For the past two years, the whole world is facing a harsh time due to Covid-19 and most of its effect comes on the healthcare industry. Doctors and healthcare frontlines are working never-ending shifts because the no. of patients is rising day by day which makes them also think about their career once in their lifetime. Many highly skilled healthcare professionals, who tend to be older, are choosing to retire rather than face the Covid-19 associated risks of working in a hospital.

AI & Cloud Computing - NCNONLINE

#artificialintelligence

The combination of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cloud computing, or the AI cloud, is an emerging concept in enterprise software architecture. It addresses the current demands and challenges of storing and processing high-volume data, build and run algorithms in the cloud, integrate advanced machine learning services. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cloud computing are at the center of most enterprise solutions today. Individually, the two technologies have evolved to support businesses in handling large data volumes, structuring their IT infrastructure, and accelerating processes and operations. The AI cloud is the natural progression of the technologies, wherein AI is deployed within the cloud environment to enhance decision intelligence while reducing costs.

The Scientist of the Scientist

#artificialintelligence

Science has been the most important tool of humanity even before the dawn of history. Humans have used science, without even knowing that they are scientists, to understand and improve every aspect of their lives. For many thousands of years, the way to handle, make sense of and address the experiences of life was through the use of science (and myth). "The purpose of science and art is one: to render experiences intelligible, i.e., to assist man to adjust himself and the environment in order that he may live" (White, 1938). Although the term'science' had different meaning than the one we use today, throughout history the knowledge created by science enabled humanity to create technologies.

UiPath Vs Automation Anywhere: Comparing the Top Two RPA Stocks

#artificialintelligence

Robotic process automation is a technology that allows enterprises to automate some or all of their business processes. You can think of them as digital workers, which mimic manual tasks, so they are done with greater speed and efficiency. RPA stocks are the most invested among all other industries. In 2016, the global RPA spending was US$300 million. That number is expected to reach US$7.2 billion by the end of the year in 2022 and skyrocket to US$10.4 billion by 2023.
