What will the Year 2021 do with AI Influencers through Advanced Technologies?


The year 2021 is important because even with the time left one can expect greater presence and visibility of digital influencers not just coming up but'competing' with their human counterparts in brand promotion through advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence. Just like, social media influencers, beauty influencers, influencers who are involved with the promotion of AI products and services are known as AI influencers in 2021. With the cutting-edge competition in brand promotion activities, the influencers, in general, are gaining increasing attention in the artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem. Before citing the factors responsible for this development, let it be conveyed that the influencers are so-called because of the ability to influence potential buyers of products and/or services by promoting the items on social media. But there is a lot of fluidity about who the influencers are and how they act. There is, in other words, no unanimously accepted criterion/criteria of'influencer' and it very much remains an evolving concept and process.

I like to think of myself as deeply skeptical of the many internet algorithms telling me what I want and need. I turn off targeted advertising wherever I can. I use AdBlock to hide what's left. Most of my YouTube recommendations are for concerts or sports highlights, but I know I'm just a few clicks away from a wild-eyed influencer telling me to gargle turpentine for a sore throat. But I make an exception for the sweet, all-knowing embrace of the Spotify algorithm, to whom I surrender my ears several times a day.

Halting the Flow of Terrorist Propaganda with AI


Extremist groups like ISIS have used the internet to propagate their ideologies and recruit individuals for more than a decade. Social media played an important role in the rise of ISIS [1], and increased terrorist activity online is described by the United Nations Office of Counter Terrorism as practically synonymous with modern terrorism [2]. The amount of ISIS-related content is staggering; hundreds of millions of pieces of extremist information are posted on the internet every year. A major problem is identifying ISIS propaganda in the first place; the group evades detection in numerous ways, including mixing their material with content from legitimate news outlets, blurring ISIS branding, and hijacking Facebook accounts [3]. When you combine the evasive tactics with highly heterogeneous and dynamic online environments, traditional content analysis fails to properly characterize which online material is extremist in origin and which is not.
