Vizio vs. TCL: TVs for every budget

Vizio and TCL sell budget-friendly TVs that don't compromise on quality -- perfect for gaming, virtual workouts, and binge-watching Cobra Kai. Both TCL and Vizio offer models with 4K resolution and advanced gaming features to use with the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. To help you decide, take a look at our TV breakdown. Sure, they don't have 4K or 8K displays.

Will Artificial Intel get along with us? Only if we design it that way

Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems that interact with us the way we interact with each other have long typified Hollywood's image, whether you think of HAL in "2001: A Space Odyssey," Samantha in "Her," or Ava in "Ex Machina." It thus might surprise people that making systems that interact, assist or collaborate with humans has never been high on the technical agenda. From its beginning, AI has had a rather ambivalent relationship with humans. The biggest AI successes have come either at a distance from humans (think of the "Spirit" and "Opportunity" rovers navigating the Martian landscape) or in cold adversarial faceoffs (the Deep Blue defeating world chess champion Gary Kasparov, or AlphaGo besting Lee Sedol). In contrast to the magnetic pull of these "replace/defeat humans" ventures, the goal of designing AI systems that are human-aware, capable of interacting and collaborating with humans and engendering trust in them, has received much less attention.

Into the Future: Tel Aviv University Launches New Artificial Intelligence Center

#artificialintelligence – Tel Aviv University has launched its new Multidisciplinary Center for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science on Wednesday during the university's AI Week to encourage research that uses the most advanced methods of both disciples. The center's aim is to train a new generation of researchers and industrialists who will take Israel to the forefront of the "global AI revolution" in the coming years. "[AI] is expected to impact our way of life in every aspect--from drug development and data-based personalized medicine to defense and security systems, financial systems, scientific discoveries, robotics, autonomous systems and social issues," said Professor Meir Feder, who will head up the center. "It is very important to train human capital in this area, and therefore, the center will provide all TAU students with basic AI education," he added. Israeli defense minister Benny Gantz said on Saturday his "initial assessment" was that Iran was responsible for an explosion on...

AI Content Creator: 5 Ways it Helps Your Blog Grow

Every blogger wants their blog to rank in the top position in Google search results since users commonly select results contained on the first page, especially those in one of the top 3 positions, as you can see in the graphic below. And, for years, the Google search algorithm made content king. This explains why companies invest more into content creation, with 24% of marketers planning to increase their budget for content marketing from 2020 levels. But, content creation is expensive; costing between $2000 and $10,000 a month for the average SME (small and mid-sized enterprise). If you want to get those costs down, consider using an AI-fueled content creator to make your job efficient at a lower cost. Moreover, if you write the content yourself, or you hire a writer to create content, it doesn't take long before you run out of topic ideas.

Machine Learning & Data Science Projects Bootcamp 2021

Learn to solve business problems using data science, machine learning practically & build real world project with python What you'll learn Description "Algorithms that parse data, learn from that data, and then apply what they've learned to make informed decisions" An easy example of a machine learning algorithm is an on-demand music streaming service. For the service to make a decision about which new songs or artists to recommend to a listener, machine learning algorithms associate the listener's preferences with other listeners who have a similar musical taste. This technique, which is often simply touted as AI, is used in many services that offer automated recommendations. Machine learning fuels all sorts of automated tasks that span across multiple industries, from data security firms that hunt down malware to finance professionals who want alerts for favorable trades. The AI algorithms are programmed to constantly be learning in a way that simulates as a virtual personal assistant--something that they do quite well.

AI & ML Are Not Same. Here's Why

The Fourth Industrial Revolution is upon us. Human evolution has entered a new phase on the back of breathtaking technology advances. Professor Klaus Schwab, in his seminal book, The Fourth Industrial Revolution, talks about the blurring of the lines between the physical, digital and biological spheres. The Fourth Industrial Revolution deals with how technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning and the internet of things change the way we live and interact with the world and each other. Terms like AI and ML are thrown around a lot and are sometimes used alternatively.

What Is Big Data?

To really understand huge information, it is helpful to get some historic background. Here is Gartner's definition, circa 2001 (that is still the go-to expression): Big information is information which contains better variety arriving in increasing quantities and using ever-higher velocity. This is known as the three Vs. To put it differently, large info is bigger, more complicated data sets, especially from new information sources. These data sets are so voluminous that traditional data processing software simply can't manage them.
