She's aware of shocking information regarding her father that she can't share with anyone else, and the secret she's keeping will force Victoria (Amelia Heinle) to start pushing Billy (Jason Thompson) away again on the Friday, April 14 episode of "The Young and the Restless." Previously on the CBS soap, the former spouses were getting close again and potentially at a point where they could reunite once more. However, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Jason Thompson), as well as everyone else in Genoa City, have since learned that Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) killed Adam, and his death wasn't an accident. Unfortunately for Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) though, the revelation came with a big consequence when they learned that Victor (Eric Braden) helped her escape town because he was afraid his crime of working with her to set up Adam up for a crime he didn't commit was exposed. The fact that he was the one who brought Chloe to town and worked with her before Adam's death was the final straw for his family, who have disowned him behind closed doors, but aren't sharing the news with anyone else and keeping up appearances otherwise.
He was appointed as permanent acting CEO of Jabot while the blood Abbott clause was in effect in the company's bylaws. However, now that he's sitting in a powerful position, Billy will begin to assert his control on the Thursday, May 24 episode of "The Young and the Restless." Initially reluctant to take over as CEO of the family company following Jack's (Peter Bergman) meltdown and disappearance when he learned he was actually not a blood Abbott, Billy (Jason Thompson) has since become comfortable taking control on the CBS soap. Bolstered by his relationship with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), he hasn't hesitated to let both Jack and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) know he is making some changes at the company while he's in charge. And while his prime focus had initially been to get the blood Abbott clause removed from the company bylaws, he appears to be shifting elsewhere when it comes to his priorities.
He has decided to no longer let the truth about his paternity affect his ability to run the family company but has met resistance from his brother, who assumed the CEO position at Jabot after his meltdown. Now, Jack will work with Kyle to conspire against Billy on the Wednesday, May 23 episode of "The Young and the Restless." After learning that he wasn't John Abbott's blood heir, Jack (Peter Bergman) went into a tailspin on the CBS soap and contemplated giving in to his old demons by abusing pills. However, he finally decided to let go of the pain and move on, returning to Genoa City and Jabot. To his surprise, however, he learned that during his absence, Billy (Jason Thompson), the only true blood Abbott, had been voted in to temporarily take over as CEO, despite his reluctance to have such a role.
He had struck up a romance with her again following her decision to leave Victor, but Jack will learn on the Friday, Sept. 1 episode of "The Young and the Restless" that if he continues messing with Nikki's daughter, Victoria, he will lose her instantly. Jack (Peter Bergman) has been targeting Victoria (Amelia Heinle), and her company, Brash and Sassy, in an attempt to shut them down for good so he can get true revenge on Billy (Jason Thompson) for ruining his marriage to Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). However, Victoria has been becoming more aware of all the schemes coming out of Jabot and fighting back on the CBS soap. She has also informed her mother, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) of how much she has been dealing with thanks to Jack, forcing the older woman to go to him and confront him, since she fears the man she's been seeing is now trying to destroy her daughter. "Are you planning on destroying my daughter's company?"
