FOX News

Randall Stephenson, AT&T executive chairman, joins Fox News chief political anchor Bret Baier on'Special Report.' AT&T Executive Chairman Randall Stephenson called out Senate Democrats Thursday for prematurely blocking the GOP police reform bill, warning that until bipartisan legislation is passed, U.S. corporations will remain vulnerable. This paper presents a procedural generation algorithm for levels in physics-based puzzle games similar to Angry Birds. The proposed algorithm creates levels consisting of various self-contained structures placed throughout a 2D area. Each structure can be placed either on the ground or atop floating platforms within the available level space. These structures are created using a variety of different block types and do not require predefined substructures or composite elements. Target object locations are determined based on a combination of factors, including structural protection, occupancy estimation and overall dispersion. Experiments were performed in order to determine the ideal input parameters for generating desirable levels. The expressivity of the generator was also evaluated and the results show that the proposed method can generate a wide variety of interesting levels.

Lance Stephenson, Basketball Cicada, Re-emerges to Annoy LeBron James

Slate

Like potato salad in direct sunlight, something weird happens to Lance Stephenson when he's exposed to LeBron James. Under normal circumstances, the 27-year-old shooting guard is frustratingly erratic. But when he plays against LeBron, as he's done in a remarkable 41 of his 440 career NBA games, the Indiana Pacers swingman becomes enthrallingly erratic. On Sunday, Stephenson's Pacers shocked LeBron's Cavaliers in Game 1 of their first-round playoff matchup, and Lance was very much involved. He hadn't dunked in the playoffs since 2014, but he wasted no time producing a highlight reel slam against Cleveland, which he celebrated by ramming his head into the stanchion.

The prosecutor from Spartanburg and Cherokee counties said he also is concerned that violent offenses are being looped into the legislation, and that to keep their attackers in prison, victims would have to testify against them again, years after suffering the pain of the crime. He said lawmakers and supporters need to make sure the legislation matches up with their intent.
