The Ducks on Saturday unveiled the third, or alternate, jersey that will be worn a handful of times in recognition of the silver anniversary of the franchise's inaugural season in 1993-94. The original Mighty Ducks logo is the centerpiece, against a primary eggplant background, with teal and silver accents, a silver interior collar and orange hockey sticks.
A fundraising campaign set up by Disney to celebrate 40 years of "Star Wars" is allowing fans to experience the franchise first hand. The 2017 "Force for Change" campaign unveiled Tuesday is aimed at raising money for Unicef and Starlight Children's Foundation. "In a year that we celebrate 40 years of the Star Wars saga, I continue to be inspired by the incredible generosity and charitable efforts of our fans," Disney's Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy said in a statement. "We are so proud of their tireless dedication to positively impact the lives of children and others around the world, and hope this year's'Force For Change' campaign will offer a few of those wonderful fans an experience they will never forget," Kennedy added. Under the campaign announced by Daisy Ridley and Mark Hamill, people can donate between $10 and $50,000.

Launched on March 18, 1967, the original "Pirates" ride featured a 1,838-foot flume with a 12-minute running time, making it one of the longest theme park rides in existence. The attraction quickly became a fan favorite and an icon for the park that had just opened two years earlier.
