He is one of the best young players in the NFL, a dynamic threat capable of carrying an offense. Rams running back Todd Gurley rushed for 1,106 yards and 10 touchdowns in 13 games last season, a performance that earned him a spot in the Pro Bowl and the offensive rookie-of-the-year award. And he did it after coming back from a major knee injury suffered late in his final season at Georgia. Gurley, the No. 10 pick in the 2015 draft, said there is more to prove.
Ofelia and Daniel were finally reunited in Season 3, episode 14 of AMC's "Fear the Walking Dead." Unfortunately, the reunion wasn't a happy one as Ofelia died of a zombie bite a few moments before her father saw her again. In an interview with TVLine, Mercedes Mason revealed that she had known about her character's heartbreaking death since the time they were filming Season 3, episode 10. "[Showrunner Dave Erickson] is aware I was trying to start a family, and he's heading off the show," the actress said of why the idea of killing Ofelia came up. "So it was like, 'Okay, a lot of things are going to be changing at the end of the season. If we maybe let Ofelia go, how dramatic can we make it?'
The three finalists for the BBC Young Musician contest say they have chosen "tricky" pieces for Sunday's showdown. Saxophonist Jess Gillam, cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason and horn player Ben Goldscheider will each perform a concerto of their choice, accompanied by the BBC Symphony Orchestra. All three have been mentored by former winner Nicola Benedetti. Now in its 38th year, the Young Musician competition is one of the most prestigious awards for amateur players. The finalists have made it through four stages to play at the Barbican on Sunday night, from regional auditions to last week's semi-finals.
