A new study by job site Indeed has found that there was an increase of 186 percent in the number of people looking for work opportunities in the robotics sector in India between May 2015 and May 2018. In the same period, job postings in the sector grew 191 percent. Maharashtra has the most robotics jobs in India followed by Karnataka and Telangana. "Robotics will also have a key role to play in the Make in India initiative towards attracting global manufacturers to invest in the country… India can become a veritable powerhouse of robotics talent," says Sashi Kumar, managing director, Indeed India.
