Ohio police investigate reports of 'zombie' raccoons

YOUNGSTOWN, U.S. – Police are investigating reports of "zombie-like" raccoons in northeast Ohio. Local television channel WKBN-TV reports that Youngstown police have received more than a dozen calls in the past three weeks about raccoons acting strangely in the daytime. Photographer Robert Coggeshall said he was playing with his dogs outside his home last week when one such raccoon approached them. Coggeshall said the animal would stand on its hind legs, show its teeth and fall over backward. The raccoon Coggeshall saw and 14 others in incidents to which police responded were euthanized.

Witness Reports Seeing Woman Forced Into Trunk in Missouri

Lee's Summit police say the witness called Saturday night to report seeing a man jump out of a car that was stopped in the middle of a street. The witness told police the car sped off after a woman with shoulder length brown hair was put into the trunk. She was wearing a red shirt. The car was described as a cream colored Chevrolet Malibu.
