Samsung Galaxy S8 price leak: 20 times more expensive than relaunched Nokia 3310

The Samsung Galaxy S8 has been subject to so many leaks over the past few months that we already have a strong idea of its capabilities and features. However, until now we haven't had any indication of how much it could cost. UK retailer MobileFun has revealed what it believes to be the right figures for the smartphone, and the numbers are unsurprisingly lofty. Samsung Galaxy S8 blocks users from customising Bixby button, despite Voice delay

Samsung is blocking users from reconfiguring the Bixby button on the Galaxy S8. The company has made a number of ambitious claims about the virtual assistant, which is being marketed as one of the phone's key features. In a move designed to help establish Bixby as a genuine rival to Google Assistant, Samsung even decided to equip the S8 with a physical Bixby button. The I.F.O. is fuelled by eight electric engines, which is able to push the flying object to an estimated top speed of about 120mph. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 becomes fastest-selling smartphone in India

Xiaomi says its new Redmi Note 4 has become the fastest selling smartphone in India. The Chinese firm said it had moved more than one million units in just 45 days since its launch, meaning one sold every four seconds. The phone is the successor to the Redmi Note 3, which shifted more than 2.3 million units in the country following its 2016 launch, making it the best-selling smartphone in India in terms of online sales. "Redmi Note 4 has become the fastest smartphone model to sell a million units in India. Redmi Note 4 has sold more than one million units in 45 days from its first sale on 23 January, 2017," Xiaomi said.


iPhone Siri prank tricks people into phoning emergency services

A prank designed to trick iPhone users into calling emergency services is currently spreading online. Owners of Apple products are being encouraged to say '108' to Siri, unaware of the consequences. As 108 is the equivalent of 999 in India, the digital assistant will recognise it as a command to contact emergency services in the phone user's local area.
