If you've been unable to connect to Microsoft's services, you're not alone. Microsoft is suffering through an outage that has taken down Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and others. If you are connected, don't be tempted to disconnect just to see what's going on, Microsoft warns. The Microsoft 365 service page, showing the status of Microsoft's business services, notes that Microsoft Teams may also be affected, along with its related services. Microsoft's Twitter account noted the outage at 2:44 p.m. PT, claiming then that it was "investigating an issue affecting access to multiple Microsoft 365 services."
Microsoft's first Xbox 20/20 stream, which will showcase gameplay from upcoming third-party Xbox Series X games, starts at 11AM ET. You can watch the entire Inside Xbox live stream below or follow along as we write about the latest news to come out of the event. As for what you can expect to see, we know Ubisoft will share footage of Assassin's Creed Vahalla in action. Beyond that, Head of Xbox Phil Spencer tweeted the company will show off several brand new games, from "studios large and small," during the stream. That said, don't expect to see any first-party gameplay reveals; Microsoft plans to show games like Halo Infinite later this year.
Security is about keeping people out of your account, whereas privacy is about controlling the information you share with Microsoft and the wider world. The two fields do have some crossover--limiting the personal details you put online, for example, can make it harder for other people to impersonate you on the web. But Microsoft itself is also recording your online behavior. To see Microsoft's available privacy options, open your online account page and click Privacy. From this page, you can delete the information that Microsoft has been collecting about you.
