Ubisoft's 'Assassin's Creed: Origins' Leaked In New Image

An off-screen image of an upcoming "Assassin's Creed" game has leaked online, with reports claiming that the new entry into the franchise will be called "Assassin's Creed: Origins." The off-screen image of "Assassin's Creed: Origins" was posted on Reddit by a user with the handle "shoutouttoashraf." The username is speculated to be referring to Ashraf Ismail, a Ubisoft employee that also worked on "Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag" and is also known to be working on the still-unannounced game, according to Eurogamer. A source has also confirmed to the gaming news site that the leaked image is legitimate. The leaked photo shows a player character on a wooden sailboat.

Ubisoft's upcoming new Assassin's Creed game has leaked once again ahead of its official reveal at E3 2017. A preorder card for Assassin's Creed: Origins has surfaced online, confirming the game's Egyptian setting and bonus content. The leaked preorder card for Assassin's Creed: Origins was first shared online on the NeoGAF forums. The card appears to be from retailer Target and confirms the game will have a steelbook gold edition. This version of the game appears to include the deluxe pack and season pass.


New 'Splinter Cell' Game At E3 2017 Could Be Announced By Ubisoft

It's been discovered recently that game developer Ubisoft filed a trademark application to re-register a license for the Splinter Cell series. This has led to speculation Ubisoft might announce a new Splinter Cell game next week at E3 2017. The trademark filing for what appears to be a new Splinter Cell game was spotted on the trademark listing website Justia. The filing was found under the entertainment section and was submitted on May 15. There's currently no information as to what this new entry to the franchise will be called, as the trademark filing only mentions Splinter Cell.
