The series of services now on offer to businesses include secure internet, secure managed firewall, secure messaging, secure application publishing, and remote access, along with security management services such as security incident, event management, and incident response as a service. According to Spark Security head Josh Bahlman, the offering was designed to provide enterprise with the same services it supplies to government departments and agencies. "Cyber threat is a top concern for Kiwi enterprises -- expanding our offering provides businesses with the best possible defence in-depth model," Bahlman said. "With over 100 security professionals whose focus is 100 percent security, a strong investment in new security technologies, and the only commercial New Zealand member of FIRST [Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams], Spark can provide extensive access to global threat intelligence sources." As part of the TaaS panel, Spark provides the NZ government with secure internet, application consumption, application publishing, third-party connectivity, remote access, device security, legacy gateway, CASB, secure email, and security management services under the Managed Security Tower.
DJI has sent out email invitations to the media for a launch event in May. It's believed that the company will officially announce the DJI Spark, which was leaked earlier this month. DJI's upcoming launch event will take place in New York City on May 24th. The invite included the tagline "Seize The Moment," and the company is teasing a "BIG" announcement at the said event. The invitation sent to the media by DJI for its upcoming event in NYC.
ZTE USA has launched a new mid-range $99.99 smartphone through AT&T that's available starting today. Called the ZTE Blade Spark, the smartphone features a fingerprint scanner and a 5.5-inch display. The ZTE Blade Spark has a 720p HD screen resolution for its display and is being marketed as a budget-friendly, yet full-featured smartphone. The Blade Spark is part of ZTE's Blade line of smartphones, which also includes the Blade X Max and Blade Max XL that were just released a couple of months ago, according to 9To5Google. The ZTE Blade Spark is being powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.
Adobe has provided free iOS apps for creating visually rich social media posts, web-based stories and animated videos for a while, in the shape of Adobe Post, Slate and Voice respectively. The creative software giant has now updated these mobile apps and integrated them with a new web app called Adobe Spark, renaming the iOS offerings Spark Post, Spark Page and Spark Video. Most people know what they want to achieve, but they lack the design skills, and the time, to create beautiful content that'll look good on any device. That in turn makes it hard for them to stand out online and drive deeper engagement with their audience." You can use the new Spark web app to create all three types of content -- social posts/graphics, web stories and animated videos -- on desktops, laptops or any other platform that can run a browser.
