Statistical Learning

#artificialintelligence

The active course run for Statistical Learning has ended, but the course is now available in a self paced mode. You are welcome to join the course and work through the material and exercises at your own pace. When you have completed the exercises with a score of 50% or higher, you can generate your Statement of Accomplishment from within the course. The course will remain available for an extended period of time. We anticipate the content will be available until at least August 2, 2017.

Machine learning is not better than Human learning.

@machinelearnbot

The rapid growth of Machine Learning and its application in real world has already taken its toll. Hospitals are using Machine Learning to cross check if the patient needs a specialist advise. Banks are using machine learning to know if the person will return the loan or not. This argument is no different from saying, they are actually foresighting future but with margin of error. The precision and accuracy of predictive models are definitely not concrete.

Why is Reinforcement Learning so Curious?

In this simplest of all cases we get some data, say pairs of (images, labels), e.g. of cats and humans and we want to build a cat vs. human discriminator.

I am looking for Supervised Learning project to work upon? • /r/MachineLearning

Hey, thankyou for the input but I am new to the field. I started it this summer. Until now I have only worked on linear,logistic regression and k-nearest neighbors. I'm looking forward to work on a project on these algorithm before I go deep in field.
