Report: Apple is ditching the 16 GB iPhone

Apple reports its quaterly earnings after the closing bell on Thursday, April 26, 2016. Is this the year we can finally say goodbye to the 16 GB iPhone? According to The Wall Street Journal, Apple plans to ditch the entry level model when it launches its next smartphone in September. Taking its place at the entry level will be an iPhone with 32 GB of storage. Other big changes planned for the next iPhone include a significant upgrade to the camera and no headphone jack, instead relying on the Lightning connector for headphones.
