After a little more than two years, Microsoft has finally settled into a rhythm with its new, fast-paced development cadence. What Microsoft's marketers are calling the Fall Creators Update (version 1709) is in the final stages of development now and is scheduled to arrive on desktop PCs starting October 17. This will be the fourth feature update to Windows 10 in a little over two years.
