Extreme Network bows artificial intelligence and machine learning-based cloud management application

Using tools from its Aerohive Networks acquisition earlier this year, Extreme Networks announced a new cloud management application that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning. Extreme's ExtremeCloud IQ provides enterprises with visibility into their networks as well as automation. It also provides insights by ingesting more than 3 billion instrumented messages and events per day across its global footprint of regional cloud instances. ExtremeCloud IQ is built on an architecture that's supported by microservices, third-generation cloud technology and the Aerohive Networks tools. ExtremeCloud IQ provides a unified management platform for wireless access points, switches, routers, and security/NAC, enabling onboarding, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, reporting, and other capabilities for cloud-centric enterprise networks.
